I have never had dishwashing gloves this thick before. I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first, but the longer I have used them the happier I have been. They are great to wash dishes in really hot water. They have great heat resistance. The gauntlet style keeps water out of the gloves. I wear a women's medium in work gloves as well as in nitrile gloves and these fit perfectly. They are easy to get on and also take off. I have thought about investing in another pair of these for other tasks. I don't want to use my dishwashing gloves for gross stuff and these would be outstanding for so many other tasks. They could be used for all kinds of cleaning, pet care, or other tasks that require a nice pair of gloves. They are very versatile. They have held up well to daily kitchen chores. I expect them to last a very long time. I like that they have a little texture on the rubber part.
My dish-washing gloves have seen better days so I was excited to try these out. First let me say they are looooooong! They go up to my elbow! It does make it handy that I won't end up with drips above the cuffs, which always seems to be a problem for me. The color is bright and the branding is super retro cute. They are a bit and stiff but I think they will soften up in no time. I don't wear dish-washing gloves a lot but I'm glad to have these for when I have a lot to do. No one wants tight dry hands after all that washing!
Reference photos: these, size large purple dishwashing latex gloves, costco small, costco large Trying to show you how short the fingers are Attempting to show you where my knuckles are compared to where the finger of the glove ends These are so nice. They don't stink like my latex gloves do, and they keep the water out because they're long. The packaging is minimal, which I really like. Of note, the fingers on this small/medium pair are pretty stubby and wide. For your reference, I would wear a size 7 in women's gloves-I have thin long fingers (size 5.25/5.5 ring) and a good sized palm. In Costco Nitrile gloves, I can wear a small or medium-- sometimes the small is tight in the fingers. In dishgloves I usually wear a small. To improve the fit, I use a rubberband around the wrist (a trick taught to me by my tiny grandma) to avoid any slipping of the glove. The gloves themselves are nicely textured and not slick when in use. These are really nice and thick gloves-- when I'm not using them for dishes, I have worn them when mixing up homemade acidic weed killer concentrate. I'll be honest, my dishwasher broke and I have to wear gloves when doing dishes because my nails peel and shred. These are exactly what I was looking for and couldn't find until after I fixed the dishwasher. Now they merely dabble at dishes and excel at other household tasks. I did not try these on any screens because I don't mix gloves with my phone. These WILL NOT FIT your hands if they are large. My spouse cannot get past the wrist opening as it is much slimmer than a regular dishglove.
I really like the Blue Italian Tile design on these gloves. Who says cleaning gloves can't be cute? I usually buy the same old yellow gloves, but I am pretty sold on making the switch to these gloves. I definitely am a fan of them going up to my elbow. I have never seen cleaning gloves this long. In the past, whenever I took off my yellow gloves, my hands would be wrinkled because water would get inside at some point. However, I have used these gloves in various scenarios just to see if water would get in and each time my hands were dry. That makes these gloves a winner. The gloves are kind of expensive compared to the normal gloves I buy, but I usually only get a few wears out of them before they tear. The material these gloves are made of is far too dense to wear out in a few uses. These gloves are built to last, even with frequent use. So I believe these gloves are a good value and will save me money in the long run. I also love that my hands did not feel sweaty and that the inside material did not irritate my skin. They fit my hands comfortably, even with nails. They are easy to put on and take off. I wish they came in other colors and designs because I would grab them.
These dishwashing gloves are a great value for the money, with quality construction that feels durable enough for frequent kitchen use. The small/medium size fits comfortably, allowing a secure grip without feeling restrictive during longer cleaning sessions. The material is flexible yet sturdy, and the gauntlet design provides extra protection for the wrists and forearms. The Blue Italian Tile color adds a cheerful touch that stands out from ordinary cleaning gloves, making everyday chores a little more enjoyable.
I purchased the Star Kitchen and Home dishwashing gloves in the blue Italian tile style, size S/M, for my wife because regular dishwashing had been irritating her hands. These gloves fit her well and made a noticeable difference right away. The extra-long length and arm cuffs help keep water from getting inside, which is a big improvement over standard dishwashing gloves. The textured rubber grip also makes it easier to hold dishes securely without slipping, and the material is flexible enough that the gloves do not feel bulky or get in the way while washing. They seem durable and well made, so I expect them to last a long time. At around $19, I think the price is reasonable for the comfort and protection they provide. Overall, I highly recommend these gloves.
Why? These gloves go nearly to my elbows. They are fitted from wrist to finger tips. Wrist to elbow there is breathing room for a person with popeye arms. I was blessed with big palms and short sausage fingers. The palm and fingers fit snug but not hindering circulation. Typically gloves designed for women don't work because of my weird hands. I like the length as I'm not worried about water getting when working with a deep bucket. Like when washing vehicles. The color and nice and the design is cute. No point in wearing something ugly when doing dirty jobs. The rubber at the hands is thicker and slip resistant. The rubber feels substantial, not thin/cheap. These gloves will hold up for quite a long time. I agree with the pricing. You get what you pay for, very nice quality gloves for dishes, floor scrubbing, etc.
Great rubber gloves for kitchen sink and other wet tasks. And they look great on the dish rack/dryer. Pros: Thick rubber material - durable. The fingers and palms are textured for extra grip. The gloves are long and cover the forearm. Glossy finish on arm ending in a floral blue Dutch design. Water repellent coating keeps them dry. Less inclined to get moldy or sticky. Easy to slide on - comfortable to wear (Non sticky inside surface) Cons: The size runs snug so order a larger size. Difficult to take off since they are so snug. These gloves are good looking, so you don't necessarily have to hide them out of sight.
I would give these 10 stars if I could, these gloves are amazing, everything you would want in a cleaning glove. The glove is lined, no more clammy or sweaty gloves that are hard to pull on and off. The lining is comfortable and makes wearing the gloves actually feel nice. The gloves are thick and durable, your hands really feel protected. The detail at the top helps keep the gloves stay up and it feels comfortable against your skin. These are great, do yourself a favor and get them for yourself. It's hard enough to do the cleaning, you deserve to have some nice gloves for yourself!
STAR KITCHEN Gauntlet Gloves These are so adorable, I kinda hate cleaning with them. I'll have to get a few pairs. These are awesome for doing those nasty jobs (those of us do that don't want to discuss) and still keeping our arms from getting in the deep. Like many of us, I don't want to take my smart watch/tracker off when I'm cleaning house or doing other projects because it defeats the purpose of tracking. I'm doing the work, I want it recorded! I've tried other arm length gloves but they always tend to get water down them anyway.. ugh These gloves being a gauntlet design lay well on my arm and provide a good barrier. The cotton liner is really comfortable and no sweat pilling from usage. I LOVE the fact if I need to use an electronic device for basic usage, such as answering my phone, these gloves work on my touch screens. I say I'll have to get a few pairs because they are so charming on top of functional, I can see myself wearing them at a dinner party while serving my family and friends. I know that sounds a bit old fashioned but simpler times were less stressful. So as they read: "Clean with Flair & Do it with Love!" 5-STARS with recommendations for Material, Fit, Durability, Functionality and STYLE
I didn't realize how much I disliked washing dishes until I stopped ending up with water running down my arms. The extra-long gauntlets are the real star here. I can reach to the bottom of the sink or scrub large pots without soaking my sleeves or getting water inside the gloves. They're thick enough to protect my hands while still flexible enough to grip slippery dishes securely. The blue Italian tile pattern is a nice bonus that actually looks good hanging by the sink. Practical, comfortable, and a surprisingly nice upgrade for a chore I never look forward to.
The Star Kitchen & Home True Blues Deluxe Gauntlet Dishwashing Gloves in the Blue Italian Tile pattern are thick, extra-long gloves that provide much more coverage than the typical pair you pick up at the grocery store. The design extends well up the forearm, which is wonderful when you're dealing with messy jobs. I actually use these to clean my cat's litter box. These gloves are also quite thick and feel durable. I like the sturdy construction and the additional arm coverage for deep cleaning, gardening, and pet-related chores. They are somewhat bulky and not good for delicate tasks, but for heavy-duty cleaning jobs where protection matters more than precision, I think they do an excellent job. MY Rating: 4/5 stars
These Star Kitchen & Home True Blues Deluxe Gauntlet Dishwashing Gloves are a fantastic addition to my cleaning supplies. The Blue Italian Tile pattern looks beautiful and adds a fun touch to household chores. The small/medium size fits my hands comfortably, providing a secure grip without feeling too tight. The extra-long gauntlet cuffs do an excellent job of protecting my hands and forearms from water and cleaning products, which is especially helpful when washing large pots or cleaning the sink. The material feels durable yet flexible, making it easy to handle dishes and other household tasks. After several uses, the gloves have held up well with no signs of tearing or leaking. They rinse clean easily and dry quickly. If you're looking for attractive, well-made dishwashing gloves that offer comfort, protection, and durability, I highly recommend these.
You know you're getting older when you get excited about a pair of gloves-but I'm not ashamed, because this pair really does feel deluxe. While parts of the exterior have that typical rubber finish, the interior feels more like fabric, making them much more comfortable to wear. Your hands stay drier, and overall, it's a more pleasant experience when washing dishes or cleaning. I got the M/L size, and while they fit, they're a bit loose. If you have smaller or slimmer hands like I do, the S/M size might be a better choice. They're over 15 inches long, extending close to the elbow, and about six inches wide at the top. I also really like the color combination and the lemon print on the cuffs add a fun touch. Overall, these are a great pair of gloves that are comfortable and easy to work with. These are supposed to be machine washable and let them air dry. I don't believe these can resists lots of heat.
